Technology
The Engine Behind the Edge
Technology is the core foundation connecting data ingestion, statistical research and real-time probabilistic execution. Kepler digests thousands of data points, from match statistics, team form and expected goals across tens of thousands of fixtures to thousands of live market prices, and extracts the signal from the noise, delivering a fair probability you can act on. We publish only what clears the bar.
The pipeline
Five stages, always in the same order.
01
Market Ingestion
match data and odds, polled continuously
02
Feature Pipelines
multi-tier distributed ML
03
De-Vigging
fair probability & EV calculation
04
Quality Curation
multi-tier filtering & capping
05
Signal Dispatch
the moment a gap opens
What we build
Quantitative Infrastructure, End to End
We build and maintain the pipeline behind the probability model, the market analysis and the dispatch that puts a signal in front of a subscriber.
It runs from continuous bookmaker line ingestion and per-fixture feature extraction through to walk-forward backtesting and the live publication rules — one codebase, one database, one chain of steps that always runs in the same order.
The point of that discipline is measurability. Every published pick is recorded against the price we posted and against the market close, so the claim on the track record page is a consequence of the system rather than a description of it.
Core engineering pillars
High-Throughput Data Ingestion
- Continuous polling of bookmaker lines across 142 books and 22 competitions, stored as a full price history rather than a single snapshot.
- Automated de-vigging that strips the bookmaker margin from every quoted price.
Modelling & Simulation
- Proprietary statistical and machine-learning models, combined into one calibrated probability.
- Walk-forward backtesting across the full recorded fixture history.
Publication & Record
- Confidence, price and expected-value floors applied before anything is published — the model withholds far more than it sends.
- Every published pick goes on the public record at the price captured when it was issued, and is never removed.
Engineering philosophy
Reimagining Quantitative Market Analysis
We are constantly evolving. Our engineers work across a modern tech stack, balancing established data processing frameworks with custom-built probabilistic engines.
We don't build software based on how sports analytics "has always been done." We design our systems from first principles—treating football odds as dynamic financial assets and applying the same computational discipline found in modern algorithmic trading desks.
