Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy explains what data Kepler collects, why, and what control you have over it.
1.What we collect
Information you give us
- account details such as your email address and password;
- if you sign in with Google: the name, email address and account ID Google sends us when you choose to sign in with it. We never see your Google password;
- picks you record — the market, your stake, the odds you took, and any preferences you set;
- if you subscribe: your plan, whether it is in its free trial, active or cancelled, its renewal dates, and the reference numbers our payment provider uses for your subscription;
- anything you send us directly, such as a support message.
Information collected automatically
- IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
- browser and device type;
- pages viewed and actions taken in the service;
- timestamps and error logs.
2.What we do with it
- run the service and show you your own pick history;
- give you access while your subscription or free trial is active, show you its status, and act on your request to cancel or resume it;
- keep your settings consistent between visits;
- investigate faults and keep the service secure;
- understand which features are used, in aggregate;
- record the country and the type of device and browser you signed up from, to understand where our members come from. The country is looked up from your IP address on our own server at sign-up; the IP address itself is not stored;
- meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with bookmakers.
3.Your data and our models
Our prediction models are trained on historical football data — fixtures, results, match statistics and odds. They are not trained on your personal information, and your recorded bets are not used to train them.
We may look at aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to judge whether the service is working — for example, how often predictions are backed overall. That analysis cannot identify you individually.
4.Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage for things the service needs to work: keeping you signed in, and remembering preferences such as your chosen timezone. Blocking them may stop parts of the service from working.
Some settings, including the timezone you choose in the terminal, are stored only in your own browser and never reach our servers.
So that “today” on our pages means your day, your browser also saves its time zone (for example Europe/Berlin) in a cookie named kq_tz and sends it with each page request. We use it only to work out which day it is for you. It identifies no one, and it is set whether or not you accept analytics cookies, because the page needs it to show the right day.
Analytics, and your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether we may use analytics cookies. Nothing below sets a cookie until you choose Accept, and Reject is one click, the same as Accept. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Your choice is stored only in your own browser.
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors find us, and which features are used. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) and receives the pages you view, your browser and device type, and an approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google processes this information as our service provider. Until you accept, Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only cookieless signals - that a page was viewed or an action taken, without an identifier that links one visit to the next - which Google uses for aggregate, modelled counts. Within the site we record steps such as starting the sign-up form, which field it reached, or that it was left unfinished: the name of the field, never what you typed in it.
Password-reset and email-verification pages never load Google Analytics, and the one-time codes in those links are removed from the address bar as soon as the page has read them.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Blocking them does not affect how the service works.
5.Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- service providers who host, monitor or support the service, and who may only use it to provide that service to us;
- Whop, our payment provider, which processes subscription payments. You give your payment details directly to Whop at checkout, and Whop's privacy policy covers them. We pass Whop a reference number for your account, so a payment can be matched to it, and we receive back your subscription's plan, status and dates. When you cancel or resume from Kepler's settings, we send that request to Whop;
- Google, which provides Google Analytics (see section 4);
- authorities, where the law requires it;
- a buyer or successor, if the business is sold or reorganised.
Third-party data providers supply match statistics and odds to us. That flow is one-way: we receive data from them and send them nothing about you.
6.How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open. Recorded bets are kept so your performance history stays intact. Logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging, then deleted. Records of your subscription (plan, status and dates) may be kept longer where accounting or tax law requires it. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal information, other than anything we are legally required to retain.
7.Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — please use a strong, unique password.
8.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise any of these; we may need to verify your identity first.
9.International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we take steps to ensure it remains protected to an equivalent standard.
10.Children
The service is not for anyone under the legal gambling age in their jurisdiction, and never for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.
11.Changes and contact
We may update this policy, and the date above will change when we do. Questions, requests, or privacy concerns can be sent to info@keplerquant.com.
